freegreentech.org - From freedom comes sustainability
freegreentech.org is a global online community for the design of environmentally sustainable technology through the principles of community driven collective action, using the way communities like the open source movement, Wikipedia etc. work as our role model. We build on the philosophy that the knowledge of clean, green and sustainable technology should be freely available to the whole of humanity. The community accepts members from all over the world. As a consequence the pages will be kept in English, with the exception of some of the forums that will be dedicated to discussions in other languages. We also have a blog in Norwegian. Please read our Posting Guidelines for further details about how to participate. The organisation behind freegreentech.org is Green Life Innovators (GLI for short). This organization is rooted in Norway and is registered at the Norwegian Central Coordination Register for Legal Entities, under the organization number 993 163 872 as a non profit, non governmental organization.

Just go to the Projects-page and start a new wiki-page, and a new project is born. The admin will create a new forum for the newborn project when he discovers it. Please send a message to the admin if that does not happen within a few days. All Projects
Just like with any other community on the Internet, all members choose to which degree they would like to participate. As a general rule anyone can read most of the contents of this web site, but in order to be able to post anything to this site, you have to register for an account. NOTE: You don't need to be a hard core techie to join this community, enjoy it and be a valuable contributor. If you look around our site, you will see that not everything we do is high tech.
