When I was a young boy in the eighties, there was another allegedly man made disaster that the media told was about to kill us. We were all going to be fried from the dangerous rays of the sun, due to the thinning of the ozone layer.
What happened to that? You never read about it in the media any more. It's not like you ever read that the problem was solved and nothing to worry about any more. It's just like the media focus sort of faded away.
And will the same thing happen to global warming twenty years from now?
